Rosatom can borrow from Natl Wealth Fund for lithium projects
PARK PATRIOT, Moscow Region, Aug 23 (PRIME) -- Russian nuclear power corporation Rosatom plans to attract an undisclosed sum of money from the National Wealth Fund for lithium projects, CEO Alexei Likhachyov said on Monday.
"We are actively involved in rare and rare-earth metals, we have a separate lithium business because it gives an impetus to the entire energy storage area. Everything connected with large industrial and household energy accumulators is one of the top requests by the Russian and global markets. The lithium business is the most promising here," Likhachyov said.
He added that the company plans to participate in the entire production chain.
